CABOCUBAJAZZ blends lively Cuban rhythms with dreamy, wistful melodies from the Cape Verde Islands. The Holland-based group is a combination of five top-notch musicians from Cape Verde, Cuba, Germany and Aruba. Each of them has build an excellent reputation already before meeting each other: singer Dina Medina, pianist Carlos Matos, percussionist Nils Fischer, bassist Reno Steba and drummer Armando Vidal.

With a mix of Cape Verdean songs, Cuban rhythms and jazz, CaboCubaJazz takes the listeners and also the dancers on a trip in a musical rollercoaster…

Currently the band is on CD release-tour for the album ʻRikeza y Valorʼ [2011]. Rikeza y Valor is garnering rave reviews internationally.
